The year is 1896.

After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm. A decade later, relations between the Crown and the magical community have at last been restored, but it is a tentative truce as trust begins to be developed once more.

Charming mixes the fantastic universe of Harry Potter with the culture of Victorian England to create an engaging universe shaped by the characters within it. Established in 2010, we continue to grow (in character and out!), inspired by the magical world that our creations inhabit.

Every world in the multiverse is set on a collision course with the others. When the reality of one planet spills into another, the effects can be catastrophic - just ask the Travelers. Since the beginning of time, these protectors of the multiverse have witnessed the rise and fall of worlds and fought tirelessly to combat the Traversal Events that threaten this natural cycle.

But they are losing this war. With the breaches of reality growing ever more dangerous and their own numbers dwindling dangerously low, the Travelers have begun to race toward their seemingly inevitable demise, a future they will do anything to prevent. Meanwhile, the multiverse that they so desperately defend marches on without them: infinite worlds, each with their own struggles, utterly unaware of their protector's plight or that their very reality could rip itself apart at any moment.

It is the end of spring in the year 2553, a lifetime’s journey from Earth. Colonists on the recently-discovered planet of Harmony found large deposits of one of the galaxy's rarest elements on their home. News of this spread quickly, and on the heels of joy came a threat: the Sevar. Warriors from the neighbouring galaxy, they immediately declared their intent to attack Harmony, killing all who remained on their way to claim the planet's riches for themselves.

Desperate for help, the colonists sent out distress signals. With their newfound support from across the galaxy, the Sevar are daunted, and the Harmony Rebellion is preparing to offer a peace treaty, in the hopes that crisis may be averted. With an influx of new people, Harmony is busier than ever, and some say more dangerous. Even if the Sevar never invade, will the fledgeling colony still stand strong in the wake of so much chaos?

Your character wakes up in a dream world with no explanation. Do they remember their life from before? Enter a dreamscape inspired by intrusion fantasy and join a wolf-focused play-by-post rpg built on the foundations of flexibility, creativity, and collaboration.

Welcome to Canis Major. Controlled by a fickle god named Astra, inhabitants of this world will encounter many strange and wonderful things, such as floating islands, endless and intertwining stairways, and even mushrooms as tall as the trees themselves.
