Yet the Crown's authority is neither absolute nor uncontested. The Right Side Up, a resistance determined to reclaim the kingdom, continues to operate within the shadows, while those living along the Fringe have learned that survival sometimes demands allegiance to no one but themselves. Beyond the city, forgotten realms and ancient powers threaten to complicate a conflict that has already rewritten the destinies of heroes and villains alike.

In Hollow Bastion, bloodlines may open doors, but they offer little protection from the consequences of ambition.
