It sent a power surge unlike anything that'd ever been seen-- causing an effect no one knew until Tony Stark bravely sacrificed himself to destroy Thanos and his army. With the third and final snap the barrier the separated our universe from the rest of the multiverse began to tear. Sorcerers from both sides frantically worked along with top scientists to stop it, but all they could do was quarantine the spots the openings appeared. However, this doesn't stop new ones from gradually ripping the fabric in more places around the universe. Villains and heroes alike are making their way through the openings for reasons all their own.
