In the wake of an apocalypse, Panem emerged, ruled by the Capitol in control of thirteen districts. The Dark Days, marked by a rebellious uprising from the districts, led to the brutal Hunger Games – a deadly annual pageant that served as a reminder of war and kept the districts in check. The Capitol’s dominance persisted for 170 years until a new rebellion emerged, creating a secret haven called Soteria.

The Capitol quelled the uprising, but many rebels escaped in the turmoil. District Thirteen, having led the latest uprising received the brunt of the punishment as families and friends were torn apart and redistributed throughout the nation. To further crush the spirits of district citizens, the Capitol declared the Hunger Games a bi-annual affair, now occurring in both the spring and the fall.

Despite everything, the resistance persists. Tensions remain high across Panem, and while Soteria remains blanketed in obscurity, whispers of the name creep through the shadows among the hopeful and the bitter alike. Will freedom from the tight grip of the Capitol allow the Soterians to find a way to end this conflict once and for all? Will the Capitol and its forces find and eliminate their enemies? Only time will tell as the citizens of Panem seek their place between Silence and Salvation.

Our story centres around the people who work in the Beaufort Building - an office building north of Times Square that is home to a number of industries. We have the Beau Records studio, fashioned after the Brill Building that songwriters like Carole King called home. You'll also find Scene Magazine, taking its inspiration from the Village Voice, and a fashion house.

While the Beaufort is a central location, everyone has lives outside of work - New York is a big place with endless stories to tell.

► We're a 18+ community with a 3-3-3 RP content rating. Everyone is welcome regardless of how much you know about Vampire: the Masquerade or the World of Darkness.

► Our character applications are coded to resemble the actual WOD V5 character sheets.

► Most of our roleplay is a combination of play-by-post threading done on JCINK (Where dice rolling is incorporated into thread outcomes) and Actual Plays done on a virtual tabletop. However, you do not need to participate in the actual plays if you don't wish to do so.

► We have no word count; our activity checks happen every three RL months.

► Site points are earned during threading and can be converted into XP to purchase upgrades for the character sheets.

Modern supernatural rpg set in Upstate New York. The town of Kingstown was founded by those that were fleeing persecution because of what they were. But over the years the town has become a haven to all things sinister and corrupt.

There was once a time when werewolves were the species garnering the most power. Their royal family was feared and respected. But with great power comes the ability to fall and fall the werewolves did. In wanting to rise to the top, a secret society of powerful warlocks known as the Saints seized control and cursed the royals from their bipedal forms to their true wolf and slaughtered others. Of course, some escaped but not all.

The Saints have been at the top since. An already strong organization now teetering on having total control. Kingstown is the unsuspecting town where they prepare the future of their lineage. But as powerful as they are, they still have enemies - namely those who have been burned by them like witches and what remains of the werewolves.

It is only a matter of time before they are challenged. The werewolf King has returned and is working with witches to take back the town. As tensions rise between warlocks and wolves, and a war imminent, the other species lurking in town are up to no good of their own. Where do you fit in?
