New Year 2023, and millions of fae, once only a sparing presence in the human realm, were cast out of their realm en masse – an event even the human world could not hope to ignore. By October of the following year, the existence of all supernaturals has been revealed to the world. Now, Veil stands as both a sanctuary for those supernaturals seeking refuge, and curiosity for tourists hoping to catch a glimpse of the beings who have walked among them all along. Modern supernatural rpg set in Upstate New York. The town of Kingstown was founded by those that were fleeing persecution because of what they were. But over the years the town has become a haven to all things sinister and corrupt.

There was once a time when werewolves were the species garnering the most power. Their royal family was feared and respected. But with great power comes the ability to fall and fall the werewolves did. In wanting to rise to the top, powerful warlocks known as the Saints seized control and cursed the royals from their bipedal forms to their true wolf and slaughtered others. Of course, some escaped but not all.

The Saints have been at the top since. An already strong organization now teetering on having total control. Kingstown is the unsuspecting town where they prepare the future of their lineage. But as powerful as they are, they still have enemies - namely those who have been burned by them like witches and what is left of the werewolves.

It is only a matter of time before they are challenged. The werewolf King has returned and is working with witches to take back the town. As tensions rise between warlocks and wolves and a war imminent, the other species lurking in town are up to no good of their own. Where do you fit in?

It took time, but Mother Earth cleansed herself of the pollution they left behind. She healed her rivers, her oceans, her forests, and the flora and fauna grew strong and beautiful. Deep in the heart of her forests, the magic awoke, no longer smothered by the smoke and hatred of humanity, and it took its prophecy and seeped into the bones of the wolves. Magic is real. It lurks beneath every crevice, within each story, and inside you and I. For us, it comes in the silent form of belief, so subtle and insignificant that most think it does not exist. After all, it is easy to brush away the acts that merely believing can bring about. Coincidence, they say! A sad reality, considering so many rely upon it as if it were a lifeblood.

Yet, this would not be a proper story if it did not have a villain.

The monster under the bed, the boogeyman, the Nightmare King- he has many names. Pitch Black is a relic of another time, but a dangerous one. As what little humanity he has climbed to the surface, he arguably grows even more dangerous, desperately aiming to steal the belief of others so as to spread fear in hopes that it may smother the man- hero- known as Kozmotis Pitchiner. As his presence grows more troubling against all that childhood stands for, the Man in the Moon calls upon a new generation of Guardians to take up the cause.

the dragon born are thought to be something of myth or legend. tales of daring heroes who hunt and slay dragons, rescue princesses, and save the realm from the dragon's evil power. it has been years since the dragon soul wars, and those brave warriors who fought and slew the dragons became nothing more than a distant memory, a bard song with tales of how the sylvan slaughtered the tyrannical dragons into extinction. until now. strange things have been popping up all across astralis. some have deemed it miracles, blessings from the divine maker or the sylvan gods, however there are some who fear otherwise - that the dragons are destined to return.
