Fog thickens. Trees whisper. The town isn’t on the map… unless you already belong.

Just an hour and a half northwest of Victoria on Vancouver Island lies Ebonshire, a quiet forest town with a haunted past and a supernatural present. Once abandoned in the 1920s, it was reborn in 2014 as a refuge for those who walk between worlds. Now, vampires, witches, werebeasts, and more call it home, though the long-abandoned psychiatric hospital still looms, and the lake never gives up its secrets.

Locals may look human, but the truth runs deeper. These are their stories.

? In The Blood - Where the veil thins and stories begin.

Industrialisation pushed magical folk out of their homes across the world as forests were razed and cities built while technology marched on. The mundane and magical drifted ever further apart over generations, leading us to where we are now. Magic is scarce or seems it, even in places where magic users were once the vast majority in the population. Dissatisfied with their lot, many magical communities wish to restore their rightful place above the mundane. Others simply want to live in peace, following the new way of life as they always have. Where do you stand? Play it out with us here and enter the flow.

A sprawling, vibrant metropolis where cultures, languages, and histories intertwine in a living tapestry, Midnight Vale hums with stories both ordinary and extraordinary. Its streets echo with the voices of countless backgrounds: vendors hawking synthetic street food alongside old-world spice carts, children chasing dreams across levitating walkways, and artists painting memories into the very air with augmented pigments.

From the gilded halls of the elite, where time is a luxury bought and sold, to the humble corners of the working class, where laughter still rises over communal dinners and ghost-lights flicker without fear, every neighborhood pulses with its own rhythm. Some alleyways remember things they shouldn't. Some apartments lock themselves at dusk. And sometimes, when the air gets too still, you might swear the city is listening.

Ancient spirits linger beneath neon signs, whispering in forgotten tongues. Stray glitches in reality, harmless most days, slip through the veil, reminders of tech grown too smart or old gods refusing to fade. People adapt. They always do.

What makes Midnight Vale truly thrive isn't just its towering skyline or wealth, but the richness of its people. Their diversity, their spirit, and the unique perspectives they bring to the ever-evolving soul of the city—a place where the mundane brushes shoulders with the mystical, and every quiet morning carries the potential for something impossible.

Cry Wolf is an 18+ Jcink Premium site based on the Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega novel series by Patricia Briggs.

After fae went public to the world in the 1980s, the world changed. Government agencies were formed to keep everything under control. Anti-fae groups sprung up in the controversy. Chaos hit fast and hard, but eventually a steady peace came about. That peace was broken again in the early 2000s, when werewolves were outed. Agencies expanded, hate groups grew, and new pro-non-human groups fought tooth and nail to show that the things that went bump in the night were just like you and me, not something to be feared.

That, of course, didn't account for the witches, wizards, walkers, druids, vampires, and NON-public fae still roaming around right under everyone else's noses.

With quarterly events, diverse subplots, and a tri-city area as your playground, there's never a dull moment in this slice-of-life RP. Having no character limit, a 250 minimum word count, and laid back activity checks (including no post requirements for non-ranking characters), means you can choose the play/writing style that works best for you and your real life distractions.

Decadence is a unique and interactive supernatural rpg with a mature twist. We are very plot driven with many opportunities for influence.

It was in the aftermath of the apocalyptic cycle that supernaturals found refuge from the Wilds in Sacramento, California. The vampires, werewolves, witches and draka support one another in what is now a busy city complete with electricity, thanks to magic. It has become an empire, the capital of the continent and safe haven from the over-grown, jungle-like wilderness that has become perilous with mutated and hungry beasts.

However, the city holds deliciously dark details - seemingly lawless and cruel. And yet they not only make due but flourish, no one can deny the sanctuary that is this twisted metropolis. Humans and shifters are "subspecies" and considered slaves, used for everything from gardening, chauffeuring to more carnal tasks.

But there is a resistance! The Rebels, led by a fierce man scorned by the first President. They have taken up the little town of Lodi; setting up outposts and growing in numbers.

The future cannot be all dark, but it is in your hands!

Come explore your wild side!

• In 2014, something changed and the supernatural world was revealed to the masses. Not just in the United States, but worldwide. It did not occur with a bang as most people suspected it might, more a whimper, but that does not mean the world has just gone ahead and accepted the supernatural without question or complaint.

Welcome to Las Vegas, the epicentre of supernatural activity in the United States, and one of few major cities where supernaturals are actively welcomed by the local government. Since coming out into the open, supernaturals have made Vegas their home, taking over clubs and warping them into something that uses their abilities for profit, no longer hiding who and what they are when out in public. Yet things in Vegas are not as rosy as they seem. From government agencies to serial killers to supernatural strongholds, it seems like it's only a matter of time before everything collapses.

But you know what they say: what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Modern supernatural rpg set in Upstate New York. The town of Kingstown was founded by those that were fleeing persecution because of what they were. But over the years the town has become a haven to all things sinister and corrupt.

There was once a time when werewolves were the species garnering the most power. Their royal family was feared and respected. But with great power comes the ability to fall and fall the werewolves did. In wanting to rise to the top, powerful warlocks known as the Saints seized control and cursed the royals from their bipedal forms to their true wolf and slaughtered others. Of course, some escaped but not all.

The Saints have been at the top since. An already strong organization now teetering on having total control. Kingstown is the unsuspecting town where they prepare the future of their lineage. But as powerful as they are, they still have enemies - namely those who have been burned by them like witches and what is left of the werewolves.

It is only a matter of time before they are challenged. The werewolf King has returned and is working with witches to take back the town. As tensions rise between warlocks and wolves and a war imminent, the other species lurking in town are up to no good of their own. Where do you fit in?
